About Me
Hello, Everyone! Welcome to my blog. I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Kate French, and I’m a professional chef living in Chicago. I have a little start-up cooking company here, through which I embark on all sorts of culinary endeavors – catering, personal cheffing and teaching private cooking classes, just to name a few. Even outside of work, my time tends to just fill to the brim with cooking projects and culinary ventures.
One such project had me out of the country for a while at the end of last year. I was in Catalonia, Spain for two and a half months, working at the Alicia Foundation, a world-class culinary research institute in the hills above Barcelona. I started my Catalan Cookery blog to share with you my work experiences, along with my eating and traveling stories of Catalonia. Thanks for reading!
